Our
Beginning

Meeting our players where they are, with what they need

The purpose is simple: meet the need. As an active coach in the local community, Coach Z saw a need for technical development and offered Ballerz Labz small-group training. The response was positive, the outcomes were even better.

The needs grew so our plans grew. We do not take our responsibility to our Ballerz lightly. We believe that Coaches have the ability to make a lasting impression, for good or bad, in a kid's life; we want to be the good. Every player that is willing to put in the work and commitment deserves to have a home in a club that supports and nurtures their potential.

Ballerz FC grew from an unwavering belief in the potential of our Ballerz. There is drive and talent here that deserves to be cultivated. Above all else, we love this beautiful game and we invite you to join us on the pitch.

Our
Program

LEVELS OF PLAY

Premiere Teams (U9-U19)

BFC Premiere Teams follow an intricately designed curriculum aimed to prepare them for elite levels of play. This curriculum includes: building their soccer IQ’s, technical proficiency, mental and physical conditioning. BFC Coaches are adept at keeping players motivated and maintaining healthy interactions with their teammates while maintaining the balance between productivity and enjoyment.

The Premier program requires a yearly commitment and offers a higher time and financial commitment than other travel and non-travel programs. Our Premier teams compete in local, statewide, and regional league offerings, providing an excellent platform for players to showcase their talents in an extremely competitive environment. Premiere Teams participate in Fall and/or Spring leagues and typically compete in 1-5 tournaments per year, depending on teams level of play.

Travel Teams (U9-U13)

BFC Travel Teams is the first level of club soccer. The goal of BFC Travel is to provide an environment in which the level of competition, commitment, and player development falls between that of the recreation and premier levels. This program is geared towards the players that have played recreational soccer for some time and want to “jump to the next level” in order to prepare for school soccer. It also prepares players that are ready to commit to the Premier level and need to refine their skills and general tactics.

The Travel program commitment is not as extensive and time consuming as Premier level, as the season is shorter and travel distances are often less.  All BFC coaches are paid, experienced, licensed club soccer coaches and have a responsibility to develop the soccer skills and team play of their players. With two training sessions per week, BFC Travel players will rapidly increase their skills and abilities. Travel teams participate in the NorCenPenn (NCP) league and train seasonally (Fall/Spring). Tournament participation will vary depending on teams level of play. Opportunities are provided for Travel players to continue their technical training during the Winter & Summer through Ballerz Labz programming.

Ballerz Labz (U6-U19)

Opportunities are provided for professional coaching and technical instruction through club-neutral programs offered by Ballerz Labz.

Little/Mini Ballerz (ages 4-8)

BFC Little/Mini Ballerz will participate in one 45-minute practice each week, as well as one day of 3v3 games. Coaches will divide all players weekly to start growing key skills and love for the game.

Club Year

The BFC Club year will run from August 1 - July 31st. Teams will train for 12 months, with set breaks for holidays, planning & field maintenance. League commitments will vary depending on age and level of play.

U8-U10: Fall & Spring leagues

U12-U13: Fall & Spring leagues

U14-U15: Fall league (modified schedule during Spring middle school season)

U16-U18: Spring league (modified schedule during Fall high school season)

BFC COACHING STAFF

Ballerz Director of Coaching Isaiah "Z" Brader

Director of Coaching

Isaiah "Z" Brader

Coach Z grew up in Western New York, south of Buffalo. He started playing at a young age, developing quickly into a Premier Club player and playing with the Erie Admiral throughout middle and high school. In addition to club soccer, Coach Z played in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) for six years. As a high school standout player, he started for four years and achieved All-State player selection for three. After high school, Coach Z went on to play at Jamestown College before moving to Pennsylvania to start a family.

When his son started playing soccer, Coach Z got back into coaching at Susquehanna Valley Soccer Club (SVSC) before becoming a coach and Director of Camps, Clinics, and Academy at The Soccer Training Network (STN). In 2022, Coach Z started his small groups training sessions to fill a need for more individualized training, focusing on future elite players looking for gains in their game. Coach Z can always be found at a local pitch either coaching, cheering on his players at school games, or playing still himself. When he isn’t at the pitch, he is at home watching soccer. He can never get enough!
