TRYOUT INFORMATION
Annual Tryouts
Held in April/May, this is the primary way to join a BFC team. During these tryouts, our teams fill the bulk of roster spots for the coming soccer year. Information and sign up for Annual Tryouts is posted in March of each year.
Supplemental Tryouts
Outside of Annual Tryouts, you can CONTACT US to inquire about space on a team. In your message, please tell us if this is a supplemental tryout for a girl or boy, plus your child’s date of birth. This will help us contact the correct coaches.
Club Commitment
There are other soccer clubs in the region for your family to consider. We are honored that you are considering BFC. Each program has their strengths and weaknesses; it isn’t about picking the ‘better’ program, but the one that aligns most with your family values and that provides the opportunities that you and your player are looking for. We feel strongly that we are offering our Ballerz an incredible program and will provide an environment for your player to grow, mature and reach their full potential.

Club Investment
It is important to us that we offer BFC families a comprehensive player package with full transparency of the financial commitment. All of those extra fees and expenses add up. We do not want hidden costs to stand in the way of our players getting what they need to be successful. To that end, we have 2 fees: your annual club fee & your uniform fee.
We offer regular, professional training for the duration of your team schedule. All your training needs are provided in-house. You will not be asked to write a separate check for coach fees- It is our job to make sure our coaches are happy and well compensated for their investment of time and effort into their team(s). Our Ballerz deserve the best and our goal is to provide the most comprehensive support for our coaching staff.

Club Policies
It is our sincere hope that a financial investment will not stand in the way of a player from reaching their full potential on the field. Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss the financial commitment and/or apply for a player scholarship.

IMPORTANT DATES
A non-refundable commitment deposit of 25% of club fees is due upon acceptance of the team, no later than 6/1. For the next 12 months, we are going to be counting on one another to fulfill the commitments we make to each other. This deposit is a sign of your commitment to BFC and your teammates. Your teammates will be making the same commitment to you. This deposit allows BFC to prepare for your successful season, including league & player card registration, coach contracts and pre-ordering your uniform.
To set our new teams off to a strong start, BFC will begin training for the 24/25 Club year on 7/1 at no additional cost to our Ballerz. This is optional; we encourage you to fulfill any commitments you have made for the 23/24 club year. (Team training officially begins 8/1.)
REFUND POLICY & DISCOUNTS
Refund Policy: BFC has a strict no-refund policy; all registrations are non-refundable. The only exception is if your player cannot be placed on a roster (see payment options above for more details).
BFC may, however, in its sole discretion, consider refund requests under the following circumstances: (1) a player moves more than 50 miles from BFC training fields before a league season begins, (2) a player becomes injured or ill and can no longer participate in the season, or (3) any other exigent circumstances the club deems necessary or appropriate. Please note that in order for refund requests to be considered due to injury, such requests must be made within two weeks of the player’s injury/illness and must include a physician’s note for verification. Player would need to miss 8 weeks or more due to injury/illness in order to be considered for a refund of club fees.
Sibling Discount: Households that have multiple Ballerz in the club will receive a 10% discount on each sibling after the first registration.
